Community Partnership Program

We proudly partner with local municipalities to offer a variety of outdoor education programs tailored to the needs of each community. By utilizing nearby green spaces, we help residents connect with nature while learning essential outdoor skills in a fun and accessible way.

Little Tykes Go on Hikes

This 45-minute course is designed for children (ages 3-12) and their guardians, addressing common concerns about hiking with kids. Through engaging games and hands-on activities, participants learn about outdoor safety, trail selection, packing essentials, and Leave No Trace principles.
Ages: 3-12 (children under 3 free with another registered child, all participants must be accompanied by an adult)

Backpacking Fundamentals

This two-hour session focuses on key backpacking skills for beginners, including campsite setup, water filtration, and Leave No Trace principles, ensuring you’re ready for your next adventure.
Ages: 12+ (under 18 must registered and be accompanied by a registered adult)

Outdoor Adventure Camp
A week-long, half-day camp designed to introduce children to outdoor education and adventure. Campers will explore a variety of topics including native species, pollinators, tree identification, map and compass skills, Leave No Trace principles, trail safety, insects, mammals, animal tracks, and much more. This camp offers an exciting, hands-on learning experience in the great outdoors.
Grades: 1st – 6th grades
