We get it, bad weather can suck, but Its the outdoors and we have to take advantage of all the opportunities to explore. Good, weather appropriate clothing and gear can actually make your time outside quite enjoyable. The crowds are fewer and it adds to the adventure. We do not cancel any class, trip, or rental due to weather. In the event that the weather is dangerous, we will make the call onsite, at the time of the event.

We are based in Delco, we operate in Delaware, Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties as well as a variety of locations and destinations throughout Pennsylvania. Please refer to your confirmation email after you register for all the details of your specific registration.

It is ultimately up to the instructor to determine individual’s qualifications to attend a program. Some programs are tailored towards kids, some to families, and others to adults. Please refer to the description of the program or reach out for more details.

No. Although we love our pets, for the safety and comfort of our participants, please leave your four legged friend at home. Then why Hiking Hound? Our company is named in memory of our dog, Abby. We had fifteen awesome years with her and she will forever be remembered. Although HOUND is in the name, people are our focus! We work with kids, families, individuals, and groups. Our programs see people from all age groups and all walks of life. Everyone is welcome here!
