Backpacking Skills: A Hands-On Learning Hike

Looking to develop your backpacking skills without an overnight stay? Join Hiking Hound Adventures, LLC as we hit the trail for a hands-on course where we learn the essential skills needed to be successful on your next multi-day trip! We will build your skillset and confidence for your backcountry adventures! Group gear will be provided for use during this hands on clinic. Some topics we’ll cover include:
- Trail Safety
- Water Filtration
- Gear
- Stream Crossings
- Campsite Selection and Setup
- Food Storage
- Camp Hygiene
- Leave No Trace
