Set against the stunning backdrop of the Susquehanna River, this unique 2-day course will teach you how to handle medical emergencies in remote outdoor environments while immersing yourself in nature. Perfect for scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone venturing into the wilderness, this trip blends hands-on training with a memorable outdoor experience.

Trip Highlights:

  • Canoeing Adventure: Paddle along the beautiful Susquehanna River, with all canoes, PFDs, and paddles provided.
  • Island Camping: Spend the night on a scenic island and enjoy the tranquility of the river under the stars.
  • Meals Included: Savor lunch and dinner on day one, and enjoy breakfast and lunch on day two, all included in the trip.
  • Optional Gear Rentals: Don’t have camping gear? No problem! We offer rentals to make your experience stress-free.
  • Course Length: 16 hours over 2 days + Paddling and Camping Time
  • Prerequisites: Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid adult CPR/AED certificate.
  • Certification: 2-year certification with digital certificates available upon successful completion.
  • Materials Included: First aid training materials and supplies, Wilderness and Remote First Aid emergency reference manual, pocket field guide.
