With all equipment provided and support from our professional guides throughout the program, this is a great opportunity to get outdoors, learn something new, and spend time on the water.

Rod & Reel Anatomy
Get familiar with the basic components of a fly rod and reel and learn how the different pieces of your fly-fishing setup work together.
Casting Techniques
Learn and practice fundamental fly-casting techniques with guidance from an experienced instructor. We’ll focus on building a foundation that you can continue practicing and developing.
Knots, Flies & Fly Selection
Learn important knots used in fly fishing and explore different fly patterns and how to select flies for different fishing situations.
Reading the Water & Targeting Fish
Learn how to read the water and identify areas where fish may be found. We’ll also discuss how to target different species and how conditions can influence your approach.
Entomology & Aquatic Insects
Explore the basics of aquatic insects and their life cycles and learn how they relate to fly selection and fishing.
